Ascendor Handbike Marathon

On 23 October 2022 it's "Ready, set, go!" again. At the Linz Marathon, not only the running shoes will be laced up, but also the bikes will be glowing. Elegant and fast, the handbikes will take you through Upper Austria's capital. It is already part of the Linz Marathon tradition that Ascendor is the main sponsor and name giver of the "Ascendor Handbike Marathon" - and this is also the case at the 20th edition of the Linz Danube Marathon. The start of the handbikers is at 8:00 am. The running participants will start afterwards. This is also the case for the sporty Ascendor employees, who train intensively for their participation weeks before the marathon weekend at a regular running meeting. The quarter marathon will be contested by Christoph Traxinger, Martin Eckmayr, Andreas Plöderl, Stefan Fritz, Philipp Starlinger and Johannes Hofbauer. Barbara Ranninger and Julian Grad will start in the half marathon.
