New DuraPorte home lift

Ascendor presented the new Homelift DuraPorte at the Interlift 2023. The new development for indoor and outdoor use has met with a great response at the well-known international trade fair in Augsburg. The DuraPorte is an optimal solution for open Enclosed cabin elevators outdoors and was developed on the basis of the UnaPorte® lift presented in 2021, which has since become a bestseller. It convinced the trade audience with its quality and design. "The demand for a new Enclosed cabin elevator with a lifting height of 3 metres was extremely high. With the DuraPorte, we can now offer the optimal solution," emphasises Managing Partner Dipl.-Ing. Maximilian Priglinger.

The modern DuraPorte home lift consists of a high-quality, weather-resistant aluminium shaft with a lifting height of up to three metres. This makes the company one of the few manufacturers on the market to offer an ideal solution for indoor and outdoor Enclosed cabin elevators. Another highlight is the elegant exit between the guide rails in the upper landing. During development, the company relied on tried and tested technology: "With the DuraPorte, we used a reliable control system that is already familiar to the fitters, which means that the new Homelift does not require any additional training. This is a great advantage during commissioning," says Rainer Martl, head of the development and innovation department at Ascendor.

The DuraPorte is characterised by numerous advantages, explains Daniel Schönberger, product developer at Ascendor: "For example, it is particularly user- and assembly-friendly, has a modern, timeless design and a long service life." In addition to fully automatic control of the doors in the aluminium shaft, the rich basic equipment includes sensor buttons on the control panel at the upper landing as well as a soft start/soft stop via a frequency-controlled drive system. Doors in the lower landing are possible on three sides, and the lift has a load capacity of up to 385 kilograms.
